Meet the RSS Coordinator

Maddie Cairns serves as the Respondent Support Services Coordinator for UCSC as of May 18, 2020. She has experience in Title IX at her former institution, where she conducted investigations, engaged students in the conduct process and advised both complainants and respondents through the Title IX process. Maddie has also  worked in Residential Life and Housing at a large, urban institution and served as a supervisor for a comprehensive mentoring program with 1,200 participants. She is incredibly enthusiastic about the RSSC role which will provide her the opportunity to serve as an ally, resource, and support person for respondents in the Title IX process.  

Maddie completed her Bachelors of Science in Strategic Communication and Public Relations at Northern Arizona University and completed her Master in Education in Counseling - Student Affairs from Northern Arizona University in May 2020.
